The New American eatery, with a high-end focus on comfort food and small plates, opened quietly on Friday Nov. 3. Among the items on the menu: wild striped bass, Ora king salmon, charred octopus, beer-steamed mussels, and a selection of East and West Coast oysters.

The restaurant is a partnership with Lanza, John Sharp (of Peekskill's Gleasons and Birdsall House) and Scott Vaccaro (founder/owner of Captain Lawrence Brewing Company in Elmsford).

It's located inside Factoria, Westchester's new entertainment/events waterfront property, which also houses River Outpost Brewing (open but not yet brewing) and Spins Hudson.

Lanza, the owner of Lanza Farms in Garrison, is also behind Peekskill's Taco Dive Bar, The Hudson Room, Buns-n-Bourbon and The Eagle Saloon. HIs Hudson Hospital Group is committed to making downtown Peekskill a vibrant, entertaining and artsy destination.

Finn & Brew is open Thursday to Sunday starting at 5 p.m, and is located at 5 John Walsh Blvd., 914- 788-4555.
