Hudson Valley Wine & Chocolate Festival Supports Putnam Nonprofit
PATTERSON, N.Y. – A fest set in Putnam County's Patterson this weekend will give wine and chocolate lovers the chance to sip, sample, and shop -- and help others at the same time.
The gustatory gala is set for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, and Sunday, April 2, at the Patterson Recreation Center, 65 Front St.
Proceeds from the Hudson Valley Wine & Food Festival will go to support Partners with PARC, a Brewster-based nonprofit dedicated to “securing the financial future of people with disabilities.”

'Dinner With The Doc' Series Returns To Putnam Hospital Center
PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Health Quest will continue its interactive series, "Dinner with the Doc," this April and May, offering five educational talks throughout the mid-Hudson Valley.
Several healthcare providers, including Putnam Hospital Center, from across the system will speak on breast health, spine care, weight-loss surgery, nutrition and pancreas and liver treatments.

Schoolhouse Theater In Croton Falls Ready For Spring Season
CROTON FALLS, N.Y. -- The Schoolhouse Theater and Arts Center has announced several acts for its spring performances season.
The first features Alan Sklar reading two stories from Neil Gaiman, "We can get them from you wholesale," and 'The Price." Sklar's readings are set for Saturday, March 25 at 3 p.m.

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- A bunch of old souls are rocking the tristate area.
Gilbert, a five-person band made up of North Salem students, includes 14-year-old Tara Curran (vocals), 15-year-old Eddie Fiscella (keys), Justin Giacchetto, 16 (guitar), 13-year-old Owen Hughes (drums), and 15-year-old Wilson Yarnall (bass).
