The 45th performance by the Mt. Pleasant group, since its founding in 1970, has music and lyrics by Frank Loesser. The musical revolves around Sky, a high stakes gambler whose luck never seems to run out, and his romance with Sarah, a Sergeant of the local mission, and a colorful group of gangsters, gamblers and other characters of the New York underworld

In his debut role with MPCT, Firestone plays a big time craps player from Chicago who uses a gun and his own pair of rigged dice to bully his way into never losing. He has worked with various local groups including Hand-to-Mouth Players, YCP Theatreworks and Brewster Theater Company. Firestone most recently portrayed a homeless ex-marine in “Sweet Jesus.” Other credits include Pete in “Thanksgiving,” Judas in “Godspell,” JFK in the musical “Jacqueline” at The Warner Theatre and Phil in “That Championship Season” among many other credits.

The show is directed and choreographed by Rose Cremonese-Norton. Also appearing is Rae West, a Carmel, New York, native who now lives in Virginia; Robyn O'Brien of Eastchester as Sarah Brown; Richie Murden of Pleasantville as Nathan Detroit; Frank Accosta of Elmsford as Benny Southstreet ; John Wright of Hawthorne as Rusty Charlie; Claudia Torzilli of Hawthorne as General Cartwright; Chuck Buchanan of White Plains as Lt.
