Kent Public Libary Talk Focuses On SNAP Assistance

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Kent Public Library will host a discussion on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, on Wednesday, Aug. 26, from 6-7 p.m.

Among the question to be explored are: Do you know what SNAP is? Do you know if you qualify? Do you know of someone who could qualify?

The library is hosting a few local experts from Catholic Charities Community Services in Brewster who are trained in SNAP guidelines and regulations.
