The sale is set for 12 noon - 3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4 and from 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Kent Library, 17 Sybil's Crossing, Kent Lakes.
From 10 a.m. – 12 noon on Friday, there will be a $10 “early bird preview” admission fee.
The sale will be held from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Election Day, to accommodate folks who are voting next door at Town Hall.
The new Bargain Bag Day will be held from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12.
Book lovers will be able to fill a bag for $5. They can bring their own bags or buy one at the sale for $1.
More than 4,000 gently used books will be for sale. Most hardcover books are $2. Paperbacks are 50 cents or 3 for $1. Children's books range from $1 for hardcovers to five for $1 for paperbacks. CDs and DVDs are $1.
Collectibles and first-edition books are individually priced.
The book sale room can accommodate about 49 people at a time, so be aware that there might be a slight wait to get in.
The library said its twice-a-year sale has become so popular that it now opens The Book Cellar twice a month on Saturdays.
Its smaller Book Nook is open from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Wednesdays and from 1- a.m. – 2:40 p.m. on Saturdays.
