PATTERSON, N.Y. -- The Fifth Annual Patterson Blues & BBQ Festival will be held this weekend at the Patterson Firehouse from noon to 7 p.m.
The festival, which brings combines the best of the blues and barbecue, is a way to celebrate the end of the summer.
Saturday's event will feature a full blues lineup that includes Fade to Blues, Dylan Doyle Band, and Arthur James, among others.
Performers scheduled to take the stage on Sunday will include the Soul Proprietors, Sarah Colvin, and Tony T. Entertainment’s “Local Legends Blues Jam,” featuring Grammy-award-nominated guitar virtuoso Gil Parris, Tommy “Pipes” McDonnell (lead singer for the Original Blues Brothers band), surprise guests and many more.
The festival will also feature a Kid’s Corner with bouncy houses, as well as activities provided by Jack’s Clubhouse of Brewster.
Saturday's event will also have a “Craft & Vendor Marketplace," which will feature a selection of vendors offering their specialties and much more.
Additionally, there will be a “Classic and Custom Car Show” sponsored by Ingersoll Auto of Pawling on Sunday.
Other offerings on both days will include beer and wine (please have ID), ice cream and ices, soft drinks, pulled pork, BBQ ribs, burgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, fries, and snacks.
Admission is free. A $10 donation is suggested but not required. The festival is presented by the Rotary Club of Patterson.
All proceeds collected will go directly to support various nonprofits, organizations and scholarships through the Rotary Club of Patterson.
