Putnam Comes Out To Enjoy Music, Food, Friends At PV Summer Concert Series

PUTNAM VALLEY, N.Y. - Even on an evening where an occasional light rain fell, there was a good size crowd that came out last week to enjoy Putnam Valley Parks & Recreation's 2016 Summer Concert Series, held at Leonard Wagner Memorial Park.

The series started in May, then continued with three weekend concerts in July, and will round out the summer with two August shows - on Thursday the 11th and Saturday the 20th.

Friday night's show had area top-40s band Vertigo performing for a crowd that was spread out on the park's sprawling great lawn - some in beach chairs, others with picnic blankets set up for the family.
