Putnam Groups Host Conversation On Drugs, Alcohol

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Drug Crisis in Our Backyard, Mahopac PTO and Putnam County District Attorney David Levy are collaborating to present "Protecting Our Youth: A Conversation About Drugs and Alcohol" at Mahopac High School on Thursday from 7-8:30 p.m.

Mahopac High School is at 421 Baldwin Place.

Guest speakers include Susan and Steven Salomone and Carol Christiansen from Drug Crisis In Our Backyard; Doreen Lockwood, director of chemical dependence treatment and prevention services at Putnam Family and Community Services; and a person in recovery from St. Christopher's Inn at Putnam County Drug Treatment and Men's Center. A panel discussion will follow.

Refreshments will be served.The program is open to the public and people who are 14 years old or older.
