Putnam Valley Residents Enjoy Festive Town Day

PUTNAM VALLEY, N.Y. -- Festivities included a bounce house, carnival rides, rock climbing, face painting and a llama petting zoo as Putnam Valley Town Day was celebrated Saturday at Leonard Wagner Memorial Park.

Live music was provided by the Sundown Band.  

Hot dogs, hamburgers and other food was cooked by members of the Putnam Valley Volunteer Fire Department.  

A pie throwing contest was held, with town supervisor Bob Tendy as the good-natured target.  

Many vendors offered various items, and popcorn and cotton candy were also available.  

Putnam Valley Arts, one of the sponsors of Town Day, provided a beautiful art display.
