A stage version of the Lucille Fletcher radio dramas "The Hitchhiker" and "Sorry, Wrong Number" will run from Oct. 28-31 and Nov. 4-8. After the Oct. 28 and 31 performances, the festival will host a reception. Tickets for these performances are $70; tickets for all other performances are $50, with discounts for members of the military, seniors, and students.

"The Hitchhiker" focuses on Ronald Adams as he crosses the country, followed by a hitchhiker no one else can see. "Sorry, Wrong Number" focuses on housebound Leona Stevenson who overhears two men planning a murder when the phone lines get crossed.

All performances begin at 7 p.m.

The director, Mike Donahue, and actors Ryan Quinn, Kelley Curan, and Moses Villarama will be joined by a Foley artist creating live effects that will transport audiences to the glory days of radio drama.

Performances are at Boscobel House and Gardens, 601 Route 9D, Garrison.

For Christmas, the festival will present "Northern Lights, Winter Tales by Hans Christian Andersen", a new play by Mona Z. Smith. The play adapts of some of Andersen's greatest works: "The Little Match Girl," "The Tinderbox," "The Wild Swans," "The Steadfast Tin Soldier" and "The Snow Queen."

One set of performances will be at the Howland Center in Beacon at 377 Main St. from Dec. 8 -11. Tickets are $50, with applicable discounts for members of the military, seniors, students and children.

All performances start at 7 p.m.

Another set of performances will show at St. Mary-in-the-Highlands in Cold Spring on Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 13 at 2:30 p.m.
