Run For Your Life In Putnam Department Of Health 5K In Southeast

SOUTHEAST, N.Y. -- The Putnam County Department of Health will host its first Run For Your Life 5K, 1-mile walk and kids' fun run on Sunday, Sept. 7, beginning at 10 a.m.

The race will begin and end at the Department of Health at 1 Geneva Road, Southeast.

Early bird registration will be $15 until Sunday, Aug. 31. Registration after Sunday, Aug. 31 and on race day between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. will be $20.

The half-mile kids fun run for ages 12 years old and younger is free. Registration is also required.

There will be a variety of awards given out throughout the day including first overall male and female, male/female awards for top 3 in each age category.

Commemorative medals will be awarded to all kids fun run finishers.
