Carmel's Nothern Smoke Wins 'DVlicious Best Barbecue In Putnam'

CARMEL, N.Y. -- Northern Smoke BBQ has the best barbecue in Putnam, at least according to Daily Voice readers

The Carmel restaurant won our contest with 64 percent of the vote. 

All of Northern Smoke's cuts are hand-butchered and freshly smoked, according to Owner and Pitmaster Chris DeRuzzaI. There's even homemade tea and lemonade -- as well as beers and wines --  offering up a Southern-style BBQ with a northern twist.
