The market, which runs 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sundays through July 27 at 103 Main St., is a collaboration between The Living Room and the Cold Spring Coffee Pantry.
"This is our first season," said Nathalie Jonas, who runs The Living Room and lives in Cold Spring. "We have different vendors every week from all over the Hudson Valley. It transforms the vibe on Main Street. We complement what the other shops offer."
Jonas said each Sunday is like a new event in Cold Spring.
"It's a really nice scene," Jonas said. "You have people hanging out and doing a lot of of networking. It's a very cool thing. We give vendors the space to try out their goods and they can see how people react to their products."
Joe and Hope Von Stengel, owners at Blackbird and Peacock, were selling t-shirts and journals. The Von Stengels had driven from Oneonta to sell their crafts.
"We use upcycled and recycled material," Joe Von Stengel said. "We buy our material from regional vendors."
Von Stengel said his shirt with a dragon design was his most popular seller of the day.
"It was initially supposed to be for kids but adults keep asking for it," Von Stengel said.
Virginia Piazza was selling bowls and mugs that she made herself.
"It takes me about a month to do the pottery," Piazza said. "I really enjoy this farmers market, I have a lot of fun here."
Erin Murphy, who runs Reservoir and Wood in Beacon, was selling clothes, jewelry and greeting cards.
"It's fun to get out of the neighborhood and meet people," Murphy said.
Murphy said her greeting cards and candles were selling well.
Erika Barratt had come up from Brooklyn to sell her toys and dolls.
"I love the Hudson Valley, especially Cold Spring," Barratt said. "This is a well curated market in a good town."
Barratt said she had sold out of her paper flowers and that her deer dolls were big sellers.
