- Valley Restaurant, Garrison: The special here extends from Thursday to Saturday and includes a six-course tasting menu for two featuring a half dozen East Coast oysters, a complimentary glass of sparkling Wine, parsnip soup, bay scallop ceviche, lobster risotto, and herb-roasted strip loin of beef. The meal includes a chocolate tasting -- doughnut, ice cream, cake and petit fours; $185 per couple; additional $85 per couple for a wine flight. There is also an a la carte menu. - Hudson House Inn, Cold Spring: Yes, there's a three-course $42 prix fixe menu in the dining room but there's also live jazz in the Tavern Room, as well as an overnight "Valentine's Only One" deal which includes a stay on a Friday or Sunday complete with dinner for two, chocolate-covered strawberries, Prosecco upon arrival and a full breakfast -- the perfect way to please your Valentine.
