Garden Design Class

When: Saturday 10 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. 

Where: Mahopac Library 668 Route 6, Mahopac 

Why you can't miss this:

Get your green thumb limbered up for spring and summer during this class where master gardeners will teach how to evaluate your property with a critical eye so you can make planting decisions that are site-appropriate and eco-friendly. Tuition is $25 and includes materials.

T'ai Chi Ch'uan

When: Saturday  10 to 11 a.m.

Where: Tompkins Corners Cultural Center, 729 Peekskill Hollow Rd, Putnam Valley.

Why you can't miss this:  Get your calm on and free yourself of stress during this hour-long calming interlude. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes and smooth, flat-bottom shoes.
