Lasall Johnson, 55, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of child pornography in March and was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison on Thursday, June 6, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said. $1M Lottery Jackpot: Gloucester Man Eyeing New Home With Payday A Gloucester man who won $1 million says he knows how he plans to spend some of the money.  Roger Duchane won the seven-figure sum playing the “$4,000,000 Monopoly Doubler," a $10 scratch-off ticket.  Duchane chose to take the lump sum payment of $650,000 (before taxes) rather than the annuity.  He said he plans to use that money to buy a new house.  Duchane bought the ticket at 7-Eleven at 50 Gloucester Ave. in Gloucester. The store will get a $10,000 bonus for the sale.

Multiple $100K Lottery Tickets Sold Across Mass Two Bay Staters had a very lucky Thursday, June 6, when they collected $100,000 checks for playing the Massachusetts State Lottery.  Both winners correctly guessed all five numbers in the Mass Cash drawing.
