Animals Make Their Way To Mahopac Public Library

MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- Jason Reilly from Green Meadows Farm will make an appearance with frogs, bugs and animals at Mahopac Public Library's Community Room for a children's event on Thursday, July 31, from 7-8 p.m.

The hands-on program features reptiles, frogs, bugs, fluffy chickens, baby farm animals, bunnies and hedgehogs.

All animals can be safely touched and are displayed in colorful "petting boxes."

Everyone is encouraged to participate in the limbo, chicken dance and hokey pokey. Children in grades five and under must be accompanied in the building by a responsible adult (ovder than 18) who must remain in the library for the duration of this program. Attendee must be age 4 or older and must give 24-hour cancellation notice to allow others on the waiting list to attend.
