More than 100 bidders submitted 300 offers to buy up the stores, including the Mount Kisco location, that are being sold off by the now bankrupt Montvale-based grocery chain, Supermarket News reported.

Thursday's auction included stores in the five boroughs, Westchester County, N.Y., and Northern New Jersey. The auction is continuing on Friday with stores from Long Island, Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey, Supermarket News said.
