The crash occurred around 9 a.m., Thursday, said Capt. John Watterson.
No one was injured and the roadway was only closed long enough to remove the car, he added.

Car Hits Tree In Route 55 Crash
Traffic was disrupted for a short time when a car hit a tree on Route 55 near the Pawling/Beekman border in Poughquag, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.
Route 55 was closed for a short while after a car hit a tree.
