Gary Prato, who owned the 27-acre property came to the agreement with the state Attorney General's Office after Anthony Adinolfi, owner of Dirtman Enterprises illegally dumped the waste, LoHud.com reported.

Prato, 56, had originally reached out to Adinolfi to level out a portion of the land so he could build a pool house in 2009. In 2010, Adinolfi dumped waste containing likely carcinogens on the property under Prato's direction, LoHud.com said.
