BREWSTER, N.Y. – A little Chihuahua who had been hit by a car in Brewster last week has been reunited with his owner, say the folks at the Putnam Humane Society.

The blue bandana-wearing pooch was rescued by a good Samaritan after it had been hurt on Route 312.

He was taken to the Brook Farm Veterinary Center in Patterson for treatment.

The owner was located after the humane society posted his photo on its Facebook page.
