The traffic pattern on the eastbound side of the bridge will change on that date. Work is scheduled to begin that night. The span will be limited to two lanes around the clock and the speed limit will be reduced to 45 mph as a safety precaution for travelers and workers.

Drivers can expect delays traveling from Newburgh to Beacon during morning rush and other heavy volume periods, according to the state Bridge Authority.

The $93 million project is scheduled to be finished in 2015.
