KENT, N.Y. -- Two little lost doggies have been happily reunited with their owners, reports Kent animal control warden Mary Madsen.

The brown male and black female were found wandering around East Croton Drive and Harrison Road in Lake Carmel, said Madsen, who posted their pictures on Facebook.

The mother of the man who owned the pooches spotted Madsen’s post and contacted her son.

When asked how the dogs, who were in good shape, came to be lost, Madsen replied: “It happens.”
