Kent Library Hosting Emergency Preparedness Training Session

CARMEL, N.Y. -- The New York National Guard is presenting an emergency preparedness training event from 6-7:30 p.m. June 17 at the Kent Public Library.

The free event will provide instruction on how to make an emergency preparedness kit and how to respond to a natural or man-made disaster. All participants will receive a certificate and a "Z card."

Participation is free, but registration is required. To register, call the library at (845) 225-8585 or go to kentlibrary.org.
