We’re getting closer to the vote on July 13! Please remember to get out and vote, tell your friends, neighbors, send e-mails to your contacts.

The voting will take place: at ONE LOCATION ONLY: AMBULANCE CORP BUILDING 218 OSCAWANA LAKE ROAD

Our group has put out over 1,800 flyers, were in the process of putting our lawn signs in strategic locations and getting the word out via social media. We need to have a strong turnout at the polls, please be sure to come out and vote.

We have been attacked, followed, and had derogatory statements against those of us who believe the $3.8 million-dollar bond is just the tip of the iceberg and it will increase our taxes. What are they afraid of, what will they gain on the backs of the taxpayers?

Just ask yourself, your friends, and neighbors:

1. Can you afford to have your taxes increased again on top of the 10% increased town taxes over the past 3 years, the $600,000 increased school budget, the 1% increased home assessment this year? Remember the new firehouse is next!

2. Will YOU and YOUR family be able to use the proposed Rec Center that will only be open Monday – Friday 7 am – 4 pm without a substantial fee or wait list, if not participating in a fee-based programs?

3. Do you believe (and can you afford?) that the fee-based programs they will offer will cover the cost of the yearly operating costs, maintenance costs, and bond payments?

4. Who will receive the most benefit from this new building, is it the residence? Or is it the Employee's and future hires of the Town and Parks and Rec?

VOTE NO July 13, 2017 6:00 am to 9:00 pm at the Ambulance Building 214 Oscawana Lake Road. Get the word out just like the Town officials have by sending bulk mailings, banners and signs, e-mails via the school mailing list. Their spending our tax dollars to promote this 30 year $3.8-million-dollar bond, do you really think they have our best interest at heart?.
