The site plan was amended with technical changes and was approved following the public hearing on the issue.
Wetlands, tree, and stormwater permits were also approved.
Legal issues surrounding the subdivision of the parcels are still being worked out.
At the request of the Department of Transportation, Lowe's said they are purchasing 3-plus acres abutting the 3-plus acre DOT site that will be used for stormwater retention.
While the stormwater plan will remain the same, the additional acreage will change other calculations of the overall plan, such as the percentage of impervious surface.
Besides a 120,000-square-foot Lowe’s, new plans call for two restaurants and a bank.
The property at 3200 Crompond Road had previously been eyed for a Costco, the Daily Voice reported in September.
