Maloney Leads Hayworth By Six Percent In Internal Congressional Poll

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. – Incumbent Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney has a six-percent lead over opponent Nan Hayworth in an internal poll conducted for the Maloney campaign Global Strategy Group, according to NY State of Politics.

Maloney, a Democrat, and Hayworth, a Republican, are vying to represent the 18th District. The district encompasses Bedford, Lewisboro, North Salem, Pound Ridge, Somers, Yorktown, Orange and Putnam counties along with portions of Dutchess County.

Out of 401 potential voters polled, 46 percent favor Maloney and 40 percent support former congresswoman Hayworth, NY State of Politics reported. The remaining voters polled are undecided.
