Nine Football Standouts From Putnam Awarded All-Section, All-Conference

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Nine varsity football standouts from Putnam County were named to All-Section 1 and all-conference teams.

Earning Class AA all-section were seniors Steven Fehr of Carmel (center/defensive end) and Max Littleton of Mahopac (linebacker) and junior Dan Foley of Mahopac (quarterback),

Class AA all-conference recipients were junior running back/defensive back Christian Donahoe and senior tight end/defensive end Matt Quigley of Mahopac.

The following Class A players earned all-section: Anthony Capozzi, sr., Lakeland, QB/DB; Matt Catalano, jr., Brewster, QB; and Kyle Catalano, sr., Brewster, WR.

Senior running back/linebacker Ryan Mello of Putnam Valley was a Class B all-conference selection.
