The camp, which said that it hosted four "Get Ready Get Safe" rallies, teamed up with the Community Resilience Coalition of Putnam County and Save the Children to do so.

The participating kids, the camp noted, were students from Kent Elementary School and Matthew Paterson Elementary School, which are part of the Carmel school district, and Pawling Elementary School, which is part of the Pawling school district.

Save the Children gave out preparedness kits, the camp said, which included flashlights, notebooks teddy bears and toiletries.
