PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Putnam County Soil and Water Conservation is calling for orders of a variety of native trees, shrubs, ground covers and flowers to assist landowners in providing food and shelter for wildlife, erosion control, riparian buffers, rain gardens and general beautification through Wednesday, March 25.
Residents are called on to purchase trees, shrubs and other plants to help keep Putnam green.
