Putnam Department Of Health Offers Free Rabies Vaccination For Pets

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Putnam County Department of Health is hosting a Free Rabies Clinic Saturday, Nov. 7, from 2-4 p.m. at Brook Farm Veterinary Center, Routes 164 and 22 in Patterson.

Dogs, cats and ferrets will be vaccinated.

Bring your pets--dogs, cats and ferrets. Dogs must be leashed. Cats and fetters must be in carriers.

Pet owners also must bring the following:

A photo ID as proof of Putnam County residency.
Proof of prior rabies vaccination. Tags are not acceptable. (If you do not have proof of prior rabies vaccination, your pet will receive a one-year rabies vaccination.)
