Radio Dramas Presented At Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival In Garrison

GARRISON, N.Y. -- The Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival will present "Suspense! Halloween Radio" at the Boscobel Mansion Oct. 28 through 31 and Nov. 4 through 8.

"Suspense! Halloween Radio! features adaptations of the Lucille Fletcher radio dramas "The Hitchhiker" and "Sorry, Wrong Number" directed by Mike Donahue.

"The Hitchhiker" follows Ronald Adams on a cross-country journey where he is stalked by a supernatural hitchhiker only he can see. In "Sorry, Wrong Number," Leona Stevenson overhears two men planning a murder and attempts to thwart the crime with a series of calls no one takes seriously.

A reception will follow the performances on Oct. 28 and 31. Tickets for those performances are $70 and $50 for all other performances.
