Scattered Thunderstorms Headed To Putnam

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. – Scattered showers and thunderstorms are heading to Putnam County Monday night, according to the National Weather Service.

There is a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms before 2 a.m. Monday evening, then a small chance of showers between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m., with a low of 62. Chance of rain is 60 percent.

Tuesday will be partly sunny and hot, with a high near 91 and a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms after 10 a.m. Chance of rain is 40 percent.

More scattered showers may roll through the area Tuesday night, with a low of 55. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
