Snow Could Be Returning To Putnam County Tuesday

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Residents of Putnam County will only get a short break from the snow, with another front set to move through the area on Tuesday evening.

Clouds will increase on Tuesday morning with a high near 30. Snow becomes more likely after 4 p.m. Chance of snow is 60 percent with up to one inch possible.

Snow will change over to sleet and freezing rain Tuesday night after 11 p.m. Up to .1 inch of freezing rain is possible and another 1-2 inches of snow and sleet.

Freezing rain could still be falling before 9 a.m. on Wednesday with a high around 41 degrees.

Snow could return on Thursday before sunny skies return on Friday.
