BREWSTER, N.Y. -- The Southeast Southeast Cultural Arts Coalition will present a worry doll workshop on Saturday at the Studio Around the Corner.

Worry dolls, also known as muñecas quitapenas or trouble dolls, are small, colorful dolls that are a Mayan cultural tradition. People express their worries to the doll, then place it under their pillow to help with sleep.

Instructor Norma Pereira-Mora will lead the all-ages workshop from noon-2 p.m. A $5 donation is requested. To RSVP, call 845-383-8330.
