Southeast Dancing Students Give Over 200 Valentine's Day Cards To Seniors

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- A dancing studio in Southeast announced that its students gave more than 200 handmade Valentine's Day cards to senior citizens.

The school, Seven Star School of Performing Arts, added that the cards were delivered to seniors at the Putnam County Office for Senior Resources’ Valentine's Day luncheon, which was held in Carmel.

"Performing Arts Students attending Seven Star School classes were provided with materials to create special Valentine’s Days cards as part of the school’s S.T.A.R. Up community outreach program," Seven Star noted in its announcement. "The acronym stands for “Serving Today Always Reaching UP” which supports Seven Star School’s commitment to teaching classes wrapped around life lessons including giving back to the community."
