Fashion Executive April McBroom Deen Of Westchester Dies At 41

April McBroom Deen of Rye died on Wednesday, Dec. 6 surrounded by her family and friends. She was 41 years old.

April was born on Feb.24, 1976 to John and Connie Weir McBroom in Amersfoort, Netherlands. She graduated from the Randolph Air Force Base High School in 1994 and later from Radford University in 1998 with a BBA in Marketing. April was a member of Sigma Kappa.

April was a Fashion Sales Executive for Guess, Marithe + Francois Girbaud, Converse and Tokyo 5 from 1998-2010. Later she was a sales consultant from 2010-2016.

In 2012, April married Adrian Deen and together they raised their two children, Alton and Elan. In addition to her husband and children, April is survived by her father Retired Major General John McBroom of San Antonio, TX; her mother Connie Weir McBroom of Oakton, VA and Rye; her brother Robert McBroom of Park City; nieces Jordan, Andie, Delilah and nephew Mathew; Edward, Karen, Erik and Carl Wachtmeister; Carol and Barry, Brandon White and Alicia Wooten.

The family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home in Rye on Sunday, Dec. 10 from2 p.m. to 5 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, Dec. 11 at 10 a.m. at Rye Presbyterian Church in Rye.
