Jeffrey DeVeaugh Of Brewster, 30

Jeffrey J. DeVeaugh died unexpectedly on Monday, Aug, 14 in Poughkeepsie at the age of 30.

He was born on Aug. 18, 1987 in Carmel.

He leaves behind his parents, Robert DeVeaugh and Margaret M. Rickett, sister Maxine DeVeaugh of Springfield, MA and brother Jonathan DeVeaugh of Lake Alfred, FL, grandparent, Alyne DeVeaugh of Jacksonville, FL and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Jeffrey graduated from Brewster High School, where he enjoyed Art. He was a kind, generous and loving soul who was most content riding his dirt bike and ATVs. Jeffrey was a free spirit who sought adventure at every opportunity. He marched to the beat of his own drum. He had an infectious smile and people, especially children, were drawn to him. He accepted people at face value and was protective of his friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 17 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cargain Funeral Homes, Inc., 10 Fowler Avenue, Carmel. 

Funeral service will be held during visitation at the funeral home at 7:45 p.m.
