Peekskill Native Kenneth Patrick Maguire, 23, Of Wappingers Falls

Kenneth Patrick Maguire, 23, died on Tuesday, March 14 at home in Wappingers Falls.

He was born in Peekskill on Nov. 6, 1993. He was a 2011 graduate of John Jay-East Fishkill High School, and had attended Dutchess Community College. He was employed as a carpenter for Kean Industries in Hopewell Junction.

He loved sports, especially snowboarding, and played baseball and football when he was younger.

He is survived by his mother, Daniele (Cioffoletti) Maguire of Wappingers Falls; his father, Conor Maguire of Cold Spring; his sister, Jacqueline Marie Maguire of Wappingers Falls; his grandmothers, Nancy Cioffoletti of Florida and Nancy Maguire of Cold Spring; his aunts and uncles, Francene and Eddie Albert of Las Vegas, Bob Cioffoletti of Danbury, Conn., Marlene and Glenn Oswald of Southbury, Conn., Mike and Julie Cioffoletti of North Carolina, Nancy and Hugo Cameros of Newtown, Conn., Lorraine and Daniel Roberts of Texas, and Alanna and Bob Hamel of Putnam Valley; and many cousins.

Kenneth was predeceased by his grandfathers, Daniel James Cioffoletti and Nial Maguire and his aunt, Darlene Cassagrande.

Calling hours are Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will be on Sunday at 4 p.m.
