BREWSTER, N.Y. -- A Brewster man was in serious condition Monday after being beaten by a man in a Batman costume at Fenwick's bar in the Bronx, according to a New York City Police Department spokesperson.

The 24-year-old man was at a Halloween party at the bar at W. 238th St., near Waldo Avenue, when he was attacked by the costumed man who kicked and punched him in the head and body, police said.

The man went to a friend's apartment where he was up all night vomiting, said the NYPD.

When a friend could not wake up the man a few hours later, he called an ambulance which took him to Allen Pavilion Hospital with serious injuries, police said.

As of Monday, NYPD officials said they didn't have the man's condition and have not made any arrest in connection with the case.
