Carlos Priego, 21, of 356 Shear Hill Road, is believed to have been driving near the intersection of East Main and Perry streets when the crash occurred about 11:25 a.m. on Nov. 5, according to police.

Yorktown officers responded to the crash and, while conducting a routine investigation, determined that Priego had been driving despite the fact that his license had previously been suspended, according to police.

Priego, who was arrested at the scene, was later released after posting $100 cash bail, according to police. He faces a misdemeanor count of third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and is to appear in Town Court on Dec. 6.
