Domestic Dispute Leads To Sex Abuse Charge In Town Of Poughkeepsie

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Poughkeepsie man was charged with aggravated sexual abuse on Thursday after the Town of Poughkeepsie Police received a complaint of sexual abuse.

According to Capt. Ken Roman with the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department the complaint was received by the department on Wednesday, July 12 for an event which took place during a domestic dispute on May 31.

A follow-up investigation led to the arrest of Thomas Angell, 37. 

Police declined to immediately provide further details surrounding Angell's arrest.

Angell is being held at the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash/$40,000 bond bail.
