Jason Brewster, 35, of 11 South Grand Ave., was busted following an investigation by the Dutchess County Drug Task Force, along with the NYS Attorney General’s Office, New York State Police SIU, and City of Poughkeepsie Police Emergency Services Unit, said Frank Tasciotti, of the task force.

The warrant was a result of an investigation into narcotics sales at and around that location, Tasciotti said.

The warrant was executed without incident. During the search, more than four ounces of crack cocaine and a loaded shotgun were seized, he added.

Brewster was charged two counts of first-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, three counts of second-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, six counts of felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal sale of a controlled substance near a school.

He is being held without bail at the Dutchess County Jail pending additional charges.
