Following an investigation conducted by the State Police, a 17-year-old student from Clinton Corners was charged with making a terroristic threat, a Class D felony. The arrest stems from the student making a verbal threat of school violence, according to police. There is no known information indicating a credible threat to the school, police said.

The student was arraigned in the Town of Washington Justice Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $3,000 cash bail or $6,000 bond. He is due to return to the Washington Town Court on June 28.
