Former Carmel Cop Charged In Theft Of More Than $50K From PBA

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- The former treasurer of the Carmel Police Benevolent Association, ex-Carmel officer Justin Fisher, is being charged with second degree grand larceny and official misconduct after he was accused of stealing more than $50,000 from PBA coffers, according to a report by LoHud.com

Fisher was accused of stealing the funds through unauthorized cash withdrawals and transferring money from the account to his personal acount between Jan. 1, 2011 and June 8, 2012, according to the report. 

Fisher's court date is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 28, according to the report.
