Arnold J. Falgiano Jr., 31, and Cameron F. Falgiano, 21, were arrested after being stopped for traffic violations on Chapel Hill Road in Highland, said Lt. James Janso.

The younger brother was charged with DWI after officers found that he was intoxicated while driving. He was released on tickets and is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 3.

His older brother was charged with resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration after fleeing from police during the stop, Janson said.

Arnold Falgiano was found hiding in some bushes of a nearby business on Route 9W by officers who were pursuing him, police added.

He was arraigned and remanded to the Ulster County Jail on $10,000 cash bail, or $40,000 insurance bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
