Dennis C. Morgan was arrested Thursday, Jan. 11, following an investigation by the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department after receiving a complaint from a local business of missing funds, said Capt. Kevin Faber.

The theft took place over a five-month period in 2017 while Morgan was employed as the company's controller, Faber said.

Police declined to name the business.

Records show that a Dennis Morgan at the same address was also arrested in 2014 by Ulster town police and was charged with two counts of grand larceny for allegedly stealing a credit card from the business he worked for and then used the card to make $4,000 in purchases.
