Kent Man Busted For Driving Under The Influence Of Drugs, Police Say

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Kent man was busted for DWAI/drugs and possession of drugs following a traffic stop for driving erratically on Route 52.

Daniel Crawford, 31, was stopped around 12:45 p.m., Sunday after Officer Dan Huestis noticed him driving erratically, said Town of Kent Police Chief Alex DiVernieri.

Following his arrest, Crawford was also found to be in possession of 20 alprazolam bills, DiVernieri said.

Crawford was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 13.
