A Kent man who police saw driving erratically was charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop, according to Kent Police Chief Alex DiVernieri Jr.
Christopher Lauro, 49, was arrested after Officer Jason Knapp witnessed Lauro driving his vehicle erratically and during a traffic stop, determined he was drunk, DiVernieri said.
A check of his license during the stop, also uncovered that he was driving on a suspended license.
He was charged with DWI and driving without a license and was released on his own recognizance. He is set to appear in court on Friday, Nov. 9.
