Beacon Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who robbed the Hudson Valley Credit Union on Main Street.

The robbery took place around 6:47 p.m. Monday at 324 Main St., when a man described as a white or Hispanic, 6-foot to 6-foot-2 inches tall, wearing a Chicago Bulls logos, black winter coat and dark jeans and sneakers., said Det. Lt. Lou Lucato.

Employees told police the man walked up to the teller and handed her a note demanding money. No weapon was displayed at the time and no one was injured during the incident, he said.

After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, the man fled westbound on Main Street, Lucato said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Beacon Police Department at 845 831-4111; all calls will be kept confidential.
